(May 5, 2026) – Vocational Trucks and Equipment (VTE) today announced that Ingram Equipment Company has joined its nationwide dealer network. Based in Alabama and serving the Gulf region since 1979, Ingram Equipment has built a reputation for dependable service, deep industry knowledge, and relationships customers have counted on for decades.

Robby DeHart, COO of VTE, said, “”Ingram Equipment has done something incredibly impressive over the last 47 years. They have built a business on real relationships, exceptional service, and a standard of care that their customers count on every single day”. DeHart added, “Joining forces with a team like this is not just about what VTE can offer them. It is about what we get to learn from the way they operate. Ingram raises the bar for what an exceptional dealership looks like, and the entire VTE network is excited by what this addition to the team is going to achieve together.”

The partnership brings expanded resources and support to Ingram Equipment while preserving the leadership, team, and day-to-day operations customers rely on. The company will continue to operate under the Ingram Equipment Company name, with no changes to its local presence.

Jeff Martin, President of Ingram Equipment Company, said, “Ingram Equipment was built on taking great care of customers and doing the work the right way. That is not changing. What this does is give our team access to more parts, more equipment, and a broader support network so we can respond faster and do even more for the people who depend on us. We are proud of what we have built, and this puts us in a stronger position going forward.”

Martin will continue to lead the company as President, and Keith Johnson will remain as General Manager. Together, they will maintain the standards customers have come to expect from Ingram Equipment.

Matt McLeish, CEO of VTE, added, “Ingram Equipment is the kind of partner we look for as we expand the VTE dealer network. For more than four decades, they’ve earned customer trust through unmatched service and support, backed by deep industry expertise. Bringing Ingram into VTE strengthens our entire network, further raising the standard for customers and creating long-term value.”

The addition of Ingram Equipment reflects VTE’s continued growth and its focus on building a network of strong, locally led dealerships that combine trusted relationships with the advantages of a larger organization.
